Christmas Card

Though it is the new year and I will be telling you about current projects soon, I still have a few more little things to show you from last year. This was a card I made for K with a small crocheted tree ornament inside. Crochet has only very recently come back into my life (haven't touched it in about 15 years) thanks to being inspired by M's Mom. I have actually found a wealth of online resources relating to crochet stitches, though unlike a lot of great books that are available, they can be hard to navigate. This however is the price you pay when you don't (read: can't) spend money. Try this one, its been a good source; though it can be hit or miss. If you are a beginner look at Purl: Crochet Basics. Incidentally Purl is one of my favorite yarn shops, located in NYC.

You are, quite clearly, a Crochet Queen. I like the Christmas tree ornament. I loved the different ones that you made while in Austin -- what did you end up doing with those?
