Swim

ok, so while i realize i've just jumped from a christmas card to a bathing suit, there's some kind of logic inside my weird little head i promise. first off i've returned to Ireland directly from Florida so i can't help fantasizing about the warm weather. Also, according to one of my NYRs, I would like to sell some creations this year. I made this swim suit top on one of my knitting machines a couple years ago, and every time i wear it, some one likes it (and i'm not talking guys who are oogling at the amount of skin, i mean other women with style!). So I've been thinking I should start a little line of knit swimwear. test it out this coming summer and see if anyone bites!

Your knit swimwear is CUTE!! Do you have to be extra careful wearing and washing it, or did you find it's similar to other regular swimsuits?

thanks Carmen,
actually, i have not been at all careful with it, i've put it through chlorine, saltwater, sun, and the washing machine. the yarn is great, its a gold tape yarn, and unfortunately i have no idea what the content is...

Good to know. I'll volunteer to be one of your guinea pigs for testing!!! :)

It is so cool that you are working on creating and selling a line of knit swimwear! I had forgotten that you made this one (I've seen you wear it often over the years), and you clearly have such an eye for it. I'll be a guinea pig too! Maybe you could add knit maternity wear? :) I think it would be super comfy, and stylish.

Oh, and don't worry. I'm not pregnant again... yet.
