Oh, this is gorgeous, Laura. Are those buttons going down the back, or a zipper? And is the star on the right side a sparkle, or something else?

they will be buttons going down the back, but i think they may be just decorative and there will be a hidden zipper underneath; not totally decided on this point yet.
the sparkle is just for drawing interest, although there are a few little sequins and pearls on the trim, they are quite subtle. i was just getting a little jazzy with my sketch...
