Fitzgerald Park

Am about to head out of the house to pick up a couple art supplies I need and was thinking how much I love walking in Cork. There are so many beautiful things to see here, despite the unpredictable weather. In fact, it is that very weather which allows so many things to grow all year round in Ireland. The grass literally glows with the green. Fitzgerald Park is one of the places I really like to go, they have beautiful gardens and I'm really excited to see everything begin to bloom this spring. I also love that they have art integrated with the park; this little bronze of a boy with a boat is one of my favorites. ....We were over at a friend's house on Saturday, and I found myself having some serious yard-envy; I can't even begin to say I have a green thumb, but I would love to have a little garden to learn to grow some herbs and veggies and flowers....
