Installation

While a few bouquets are still in my possession I decided to set up a little installation of them on our mock coffee table. (Since we are cramped for storage space the "table" is actually three faux leather covered boxes in which we keep extra clothes. It works well!) In the little silver frame is a picture of my maternal grandmother and two of her friends right about the time she finished high school, the frame a gift from my god parents. It's a favorite keepsake of mine. The Ukranian box on the far left was given to me by my dear Russian teacher as a high school graduation gift; in the card she suggested its future use should be to hold the key to my art gallery... Time will tell... At the moment it holds tiny shells and miscellaneous foreign currency that I've picked up in the course of travels...
