Feeling Green

The color green has been popping up a lot lately. Ok, yes I live in Ireland, so yes, OBVIOUSLY. But I don't just mean because of the sudden proliferation of St. Patty's day stuff in the stores. M and I were watching an episode of Dexter last night (btw, this show literally annoys the hell out of me for its lousy character development, mostly in terms of the women) and there was a scene where a green light was quite prominent. M commented that green represents sickness and/or jealousy. Which may be true in a lot of cases but it also means so much more!! Green is the color of healthy growth, of summer, of Slimer, even! It's also, along with gold, white and tea, the color of my latest flowers.... which yes, would look lovely on a St. Pat's day celebration...
and now i'm freezing from sitting in this cave of a room, so I'm going to go make a cup of tea and do some drawing or folding. I'm feeling wicked (ooo green again!) inspired thanks in part to Design For Mankind's e-zines!
