Do it Yourself

Was looking at Design Sponge this morning (absolutely great design site if you haven't already discovered it) and saw that there is a DIY contest coming up; submissions up till March 2nd. Doubt I'll participate since my ventures into interior design and home accessories are relatively recent, but thought i should spread the word. I love craft swaps and design contests so if you ever hear of any let me know and i'll spread the word. Hoping to organize my own at some point in the future. Currently I'm participating in the Free People Valentine's day craft swap; the deadline is passed for signing up (sorry guys!); but they do several throughout the year so keep an eye out. Also the Free People blog is written by a good friend of mine who is always posting with fun, inspiring ideas/photos/videos; she is one of the first people who inspired me to start my own blog!
