I'm Back/Wedding Dress Photos
Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 08:06AM
Oh it feels so good to be back and no longer living out of a suitcase! I had so many wonderful times and little adventures in the past month, and wouldn't have changed it for the world, but I will say, it sure does make you appreciate home. That and I really missed Bubs, which is probably what I mean when I say home. :)
Above are a few photos of J on her wedding day in her completed dress. :) This dress presented me with a lot of technical challenges, which was such a great learning experience for me and I was very proud of the result. Of course it isn't hard to dress such a beautiful bride. You could have put a potato sack on that girl and she would still look like a princess.
It was a truly beautiful celebration and a gorgeous day and I was really honored to be a part of it and to have been given the responsibility of making her gown. Thank you Mrs. J B!

Warm welcome back. :)
Oh, that dress is exquisite! So beautiful, Laura. What an amazing job.
Oh Laura! It's stunning! Great job!! I can't wait to see you in November - it's coming up before we know it!
Glad you're back at home with Bubs :)
xoxo
It really is gorgeous, Laura. I wish I was getting married to Darick again so that I might pay you to make a dress for me too!
And your crocheted piece is lovely...I haven't done work like that before. It reminds me to fix Sarah's afghan and send it back to her! Hope you're well...
