You Only Need to Show Up

This is the guy I saw when I was taking a walk the other day (ok, I'm not going to lie, I was going to feed my new addiction to coffee). This is the second one I've seen in the space of a couple weeks, and I don't really recall ever seeing one in person before; certainly not so close. The color and texture on him was jaw dropping to me, although I don't think the pictures do it justice. Anyway, I was looking through the photos again, and it seemed apt to put them up today because I'm feeling a little reclusive and reluctant to begin my work today, but he's reminding me that if I just show up and do what I need to, someone somewhere will appreciate it without me even knowing. Also, watch this talk by Elizabeth Gilbert; fantastic.
