Purple is the Color

I feel lucky to be working on a number of custom orders for some very wonderful brides-to-be. (Contrary to popular belief, most brides are not "bridezillas"; at least certainly not those with an interest in origami flowers in my experience.)

While no two orders are the same, I have noticed a lot of interest in Purple this season. These two photos reflect the world of difference though between color stories with a common denominator; above a palette with a soft feel grounded in the neutrals of the white and tea-stain, and below, a rich vibrant and energetic combination when paired with orange. I love the way color can reflect the whole mood a person wishes to create.

I know I'm going to be a little short on blogging while I'm working on these orders but before I close this post I'd just like to say that I'm sending out my heartfelt gratitude to those supporting handmade creations; you make a great difference in my world.
