Beets!

I TOTALLY GREW THESE BEETS ALL BY MYSELF!!! (ok with a little help from nature and all..)

Its been too long since I've posted and SO much has happened. We moved apartments, had a zillion guests, went on an amazing trip to Istanbul, I had a birthday, I waited forever for internet to get set up in the new place, and now, well, its almost June! The tomato plants are flowering, and we harvested some of the beets and basil for the dinner we had on Friday, and I'm still totally excited about the fact that I can now say I've grown my own food. Ok, so not a significant portion, but STILL. It's pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Not much more to say right now, just, I'm BACK. and change is afoot. and i want to share it with you.
