Work and Play
Friday, June 19, 2009 at 05:49AM Today will (hopefully) be a good balance of work and play. I'm finishing up one of my last two origami flower orders and hopefully after that I will do some painting (I'm also working on a really fun project that I will be adding to my Etsy shop soon, can't wait to show you!). I'm feeling very inspired right now. :)
It helps to start the morning with some dancing to loud music and delicious tea with yummy cookies I made last night. I'm also in the process of taking this e-course guided by Marisa from Creative Thursday, which is very exciting. I'm so looking forward to learning with and from the other students (also known as fishies) and getting to know the others in this fantastic online creative community.
A few notes about the pictures: at the top, the flower bases without color yet; middle, this teapot was one of our wedding presents, it used to belong to my grandmother, and i LOVE it. And finally, I found this adorable little vase at one of the charity shops here, and my paintbrushes are quite happy to be represented by this mime, whose job it is to convey so much more than words are capable of.
Ok, no more dilly-dallying. WORK TIME.
