My first Hungarian Hot Wax pepper!!

The sunflower continues to unfold.

It doesn't cease to amaze me. I imagine on some much smaller level, it is the same way a parent feels about a child. I wake up in the morning and think about my plants, I worry about them from time to time when something goes wrong, and I do my best to counteract the problem, but mostly I'm just constantly amazed at their progress, their continual evolution, so quickly before my eyes, a beautiful work of art created over millions of years by nature. That I played some small part in a story so long, that I helped all these things come into the world, gave them a place to grow, well, it feels really good. Even if you only grow one plant your whole life, let me be here to encourage you to try it!!

P.S. Everything I have grown from seed came from Brown Envelope Seeds in West Cork. Keep them in mind if you are thinking about growing something!

I love what you've done with your garden! Great use of space. We've just moved to apartment and had to say goodbye to our old vege garden :( but clearly there's quite a bit you can do with a balcony.
