Got my 15 minutes of fame!
Friday, August 28, 2009 at 08:41AM So last night, as per usual, I could not fall asleep right away, so of course I was surfing the internet world when I get this email:
So exciting to see that one of my headbands made it to the front page!! I'm so glad I was awake to catch my fifteen minutes of fame on the Etsy homepage. I guess insomnia does have its benefits! ....and this all probably explains why, when I finally fell asleep, I had dreams of hanging out with Brad Pitt (don't worry Bubs, it was totally platonic, we were just BFFs, plus it's really all your fault for making me watch clips of Inglourious Basterds).
Okay I need to go buy food. Yesterday I ate mushy peas for breakfast because they were pretty much the only thing edible in the cupboard and I was too lazy to go out and get anything else and that is simply no good. TGIF!

By the way, I am totally feeling on the need to buy food. I had some little red potatoes that were this close to shriveling up, some okra that had seen better days, and three brown eggs that I whipped up for Charlotte and my dinner. Yum. It had to be done.
