At the Market THIS Sunday!
Friday, August 7, 2009 at 05:59AM First of all, I'm gonna apologize because the pictures in this POST are 100% unrelated to the rest of the content; they are the "in progress" shots of a fancy quilt I'm making from wedding dress fabric scraps... Anyway I'm really excited with how its looking and wanted to share them with you. (It totally reminds me of Mondrian... albeit, much more subdued) Now on to the other stuff!
Okay, wow, the "personal ad" was such a fabulous idea.
I've gotten a few responses to my request for creative collabs from the web-world, (and please keep em coming, just shoot me an email, arguingthemobius (at) gmail (dot) com)! Still working out what the project will be, but right now I've got a modified swap thing in mind; I will send a group email Monday with my thoughts (so there's still time to jump in on this and if you are sort of thinking about it, but kinda nervous, know that we WANT you)!
Additionally, thanks to Vera, I met with 4 other crafty girls right here in Cork and we're all going to share a booth at a new market, starting this sunday! It's on Barrack Street, and we'll be there from 11am to 5pm. (There will be food and free entertainment as well!)
