Custom Dress In Progress: for Susanne, Part 1

Susanne is going to a wedding in August and would like something beautiful, flattering, and original to wear.  Delightful!  That's just what I'm here for!   When I'm doing custom creations, I usually like to have a few images from a client to understand what kinds of shaping or detailing they are drawn to, and from there, the more creative freedom they are willing to entrust to me, the better.  Susanne and I met today to take measurements, discuss budget and find these foundational images for inspiration.  Here's what we came up with:

My job is to take the most important/flattering elements from here and combine them with some of my own creative flare to make something fabulous for her.

Would love to see the final product. Was it a combination of stripes and florals? A striped skirt with ruffles would look good too, if the bride didn't mind her bridesmaids being upstaged ☺
