Custom Dress In Progress: for Susanne, Part 5

This post is late as the dress is already finished, but thought i'd include this step as a separate post anyway. I hand dip dyed the fabric for this dress using batik dyes i bought at Cork Art Supplies (they are the DEKA brand, in case you are interested in trying a project of your own).  There was definitely some trial and error involved in this step as previously i've only used the dye on crocheted items; the experimenting was fun though, and i definitely look forward to dyeing silk again soon.
