About Me

Hi World!

I'M Laura Eliason

4th generation artist and art teacher, working in a mind boggling array of media including: fashion design, dyework, watercolor, oil, ceramics, acrylic, crochet, writing, and graphic design.  I tend to create collections of artwork developed around specific characters and symbols, rather than centered around a specific media.

I’ve taught, coached, and facilitated workshops for more than 100 individuals of all different backgrounds and experience.  I’ve sold my own creations for more than 14 years, including: origami flowers for weddings, crocheted and knitted accessories, custom dress-making and jewelry, hand painted silks, portrait commissions, original art and even elegant yet mischievous sensual toys for adults.

I prefer the transient life, and do not have a permanent residence; this year alone, I've done projects in New York, Arizona, Texas, Florida and Mexico.  Let’s meet by a campfire and swap travel tales and trinkets.

I have partnered with individuals, theaters, apparel brands, boutique craft businesses, non-profits, publishers, and arts institutions to build compelling creative work.

Artist CV below.

My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
